Carisa Whittall and her family moved from the bucolic English countryside to beautiful Short Hills, NJ in 2011. Her three children attend Millburn Public schools, and enjoy participating on sports teams, and music clubs, along with creative art lessons at the Visual Arts Center in Summit, NJ.
She resides in an historic home that she has painstakingly restored and renovated both inside and out over the last few years. Her knowledge of construction projects, reviewing contracts, dealing with the building department and zoning requirements, gives her an edge in evaluating residential homes as a Realtor.
Carisa worked for the English government in the housing sector before passing her Real Estate exam and joining Towne Realty Group. During her sales career in financial news and analysis, she developed strong skills interpreting markets and negotiating contracts for Dow Jones, MMS International (part of S & P), Market News and 4Cast.
Born and bred in Indiana, she is an Indiana University graduate with a major concentration in Math and a minor in Communications. She has lived and travelled extensively in the US, Africa, Asia and Europe; combining her global experience with local expertise.
Carisa is a member of the Newcomers and Neighbors of Short Hills and Millburn, BIG: Believe, Inspire Grow women’s entrepreneurial network, and the Racquets Club of Short Hills. She is an avid skier, art collector and enjoys trapeze in her spare time! As a ‘Townie’ she looks forward to assisting buyers and sellers in their next move.
